Enduring Planet lends to climate companies. It uses automated underwriting to move fast, offers terms that don't strip founders, and is built around the reality that climate businesses need working capital and mostly can't get it. The gap is enormous: something approaching a trillion dollars of annual corporate debt demand across nearly a million climate businesses, most of it unmet, because traditional lenders have no model for underwriting a sector this new.

So climate companies sell equity to fund things equity should never fund, and every round of it costs the founders more of the company. Debt is the right instrument for a receivable or a piece of equipment, and its absence is a quiet tax on the entire sector. This is infrastructure rather than technology: it doesn't reduce emissions itself, it funds the companies that do, which is a leverage point most people don't think to look at.
