Founded in 2006 as the Northwest Energy Angels, E8 was the first 501(c)(6) angel group in the United States to focus exclusively on clean technology and sustainability. 

 

Our community adopted the name Element 8 in 2014, now abbreviated to E8, to reflect the symbolism of Oxygen, the eighth element, as a catalyst for transforming both our planet and economy. We aim to breathe life into and fuel enterprises committed to creating a cleaner, healthier, more sustainable, and prosperous world.
