Investment. Innovation. Impact.

The E8 community accelerates the transition to a prosperous and cleaner world by investing in and fostering emerging cleantech enterprises.

We are a member organization of private, accredited angel investors committed to the environment and taking postive action against climate change; we know that only the power of enterprise and investment can scale the change and results we seek.

E8 members, whether seasoned or new investors, are given the opportunity, knowledge, and support to build a unique portfolio that matches their interests and goals. Membership affords access to quality early stage deals and a collegial community whose collective expertise supports specialized due diligence, inspiring learning opportunities, and fun networking.  Members can make individual investments or, in the near future,  pooled investments, as a second venture fund, building on the first E8 Fund, is in the works.

For entrepreneurs, E8 is a vital source of support, providing early-stage funding,  along with feedback and new connections. E8 investors are often coaches and mentors, serve on companies' boards, offer new contacts, and assist with strategic planning and fundraising.

For those preferring to use philanthropic capital to

prioritize climate action, E8's upcoming Decarbon8-US Fund

is a perfect way for anyone, accredited or not, to accelerate high potential, market-ready but still early-stage decarbonization startups.
