LEE OTIS: Board Member At Large

I hope to assist these companies in developing their business strategy so that they are successful and can make a positive environmental impact.”
Lee Otis is a former Environmental Scientist with the US EPA. During her career at the EPA, she negotiated consent decrees to clean up nationally recognized hazardous waste sites to developing international bi-lateral environmental agreements with other countries. She lead the development of the first US/Canada bi-lateral agreement to Protect the Puget Sound and Georgia Basin. She was involved with a Regional White House Committee to develop language for the Kyoto Agreement.
In the past 12 years she has been involved with information management systems with software firms such as Environmental Systems Research Institute (esri) using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Recently, Lee has been engaged with impact investing forums and as member of the board she really looks forward to continuing her business development skills to bring a high level of investment potential to our CleanTech entrepreneurs.
Lee is currently the Director of Business Development at Palador, a local custom software development firm in Seattle.
She has two young adult daughters, which are both involved with Public Health, Clean Energy and Climate Change. She continues to volunteer for the West Seattle Food Bank and is on the advisory committee for Lid-I5 project.
Lee has degrees in Geology/Anthropology and a Masters in Science in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco.
